SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN AND ADULTS
Flackwell Heath Bowls Club is committed to the safety of its Members and Visitors from any sort of abuse. Should a safeguarding concern be raised it will be reported to the Bowl's England Safeguarding Team for advice. A full investigation will be undertaken, eg. names and details of all involved, witness statements, and time and place of the alleged incident. Notes must be taken but the person investigating should not prompt or lead.
We adopt and follow all policies and guidelines approved by Bowls England. We also follow the procedures as set out in Bowls England's Disciplinary procedure Regulation 9 and after taking advice from the Lead Safeguarding Officer will deal with any safeguarding concerns raised through their Disciplinary or Safeguarding procedure.
Where there is an urgent concern or a risk of significant harm the police will be called.
